Restore Harmony for a Happy Life

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to
an understanding of ourselves”.

 Carl Jung

When you feel that you can't cope with life, talking with a compassionate but objective person, someone who knows how to listen without passing  judgement is an essential need.  Counselling should not only satisfy that need; but it must work to enable you to make the right choices for yourself.

If you have made a decision to finally sort out what is troubling you, to identify your problems once and for all, read on...

Some things to think about

Is it difficult for you to find the words to express what is going on inside you?

Do you feel stuck or that no one is listening to you?

Do you feel a lack of confidence in yourself or struggle with self-esteem issues?

Do you feel negative about your life, with an attitude of “I can’t be bothered!” but want to change it?

Do you sense that you are drinking or using too much or too often?

Have you stopped but then started again with worse consequences than before?

Is food a preoccupation in your life - your first thought in the morning and last thought at night?

Do you have difficulties communicating with those you love and would like to learn how to identify and express your feelings more directly?

Are you spending too much money, to ‘feel good for a moment’ on things that you don’t need?

My expertise is in one to one counselling covering a range of problems:

  • Relationships difficulties, unable to communicate
  • Anxiety, fears and stress
  • Dependency on alcohol, prescription drugs or other chemicals
  • Eating disorders; anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating
  • Over spending
  • Depression, anger or rage
  • A sense of loss, including bereavement, divorce, separation, change of country
  • Lack of confidence, low self esteem
  • Loneliness
  • Lack of direction and purpose
  • Issues relating to childhood upsets/pain/abuse
  • Difficulty in identifying and expressing feelings
  • Sexual issues

My office is a calm, confidential and non-judgemental environment where we can openly explore your thoughts and feelings with ease and objectivity. Gradually, you will recognise the repeated patterns of behaviour that create and prolong your struggles. Through the counselling process, a greater level of self awareness and confidence can be developed, leading to happier relationships, a more positive outlook and lasting change.
If you would like to know more, please contact me to arrange an initial free consultation. This will provide us with an opportunity to meet one another and to discuss your needs and expectations. There is no commitment to ongoing work at this stage and no charge for this first 30 minute session.
